The individual that put PPC ads with CEO's names of the companies he desired to be employed with had an ingenious plan. However it required little in marketable skills. My strategy is similar but it requires unique skills to accomplish the desired result.

This strategy is initially planned for 32 CEO’s of companies across the US that I know would profit greatly from my internet skills. To accomplish this it requires the acquiring domain names for all the CEO’s. Secondly it requires the hosting of these domains on a server. Thirdly it requires the building of a website, in CSS, and optimizing it for search engine placement for the name of the CEO; for one website that is difficult but for 32 that will be something. Fourthly it requires creating an account Google Webmaster Tools and posting an XML sitemap so that the site is picked up quickly. And lastly it requires an elaborate interlinking strategy for it to show up on the first page of the search engines results. These are the companies that is in the initial target phase:

The searching habits of consumers using the internet to find businesses is moving from a national search to a regionally or locally for businesses. This, I believe, can be attributed to the Yellow Pages and their years of conditioning consumers on how to search for businesses on the local level. To demonstrate this search "fiberglass pools San Angelo", which is in Texas, you will see a locally optimized site and a nationally optimized site which both were created and managed by me. When I started this strategy in July 2007 72% of internet searchers would hit on the nationally optimized site but now 67% hit on the regional site.

My calculations show that the top 100 new home builders in the US in 2009 experienced a significant drop in closings. There was a drop of 36,478 homes closed on for an average, of the top 100, of 22.6%. Beazer Homes specifically lost, as compared to 2008, 1455 closings (according to builderonline.com) constituting 33% drop in revenue which is approximately $433 Million. So not only were fewer homes sold but also less of a home was sold to their customers. Do you think it is time to think outside the box? My strategy can bolster your company just like it has kept Leisure Pools increasing in sales in an industry that has been hit harder than residential construction. Estimates indicate the pool industry has contracted 66% since 2007.

Currently this strategy is receiving 75% of the internet traffic from regionally optimized websites and is delivering 67% of the leads. By the years end it will see approximately 10 million page views from some 2.5 million visitors. Even during severe economic times for the pool industry it has produced over 11,000 leads a year since 2008.

Current statistics show that consumer are searching for businesses in a 10 to 20 mile range on the internet. This searching is growing exponentially because in 2009 there were 1 billion local searchs, this year there will be 1.5 billion local searchs, and it is predicted that 2011 will have 2.3 billion and 2012 3.45 billion.

For the searches in your industry I did not include the [Homes San Antonio], [San Antonio Construction] and [Homes For Sale San Antonio] because it would artificially inflate the results since these are very broad keyword phrases. In other terms your keywords are searched 72,700 times a month for San Antonio which is 26 times more on the internet than for a fiberglass pool. For your market you can reasonbly expect 182,000,000 page views for a locally optimized strategy on a national scale. To carry this further, by taking approximately 7,500 leads the locally optimized websites will develop for the pool industry, you can extrapolate that is would also produce 26 times more leads, or 195,000. I, however, beleive that you can expect many times more since there are some differences in the new home construction and Pool markets.

Page Views

From Alexa.com currently your rank is 165,180 and I can estimate that you will see approximately 6 million pages views for the year. Also you get 29.5% of your web traffic from search engines which is good but your most popular keyword phrases have your name in them. Short Lived

I have had individuals say this type of strategy violates the rules of Search Engines. However I do not believe it does since I have been using it successfully for almost a decade and have yet to see one of my websites penalized because of it. When you locally optimize a website you are not trying to scam the large searches but are just advertising, like a billboard would, along travelled roadways searchers travel.
